Q: Can I pressure wash my house after it has been painted?

    in Question for the Professionals

A: The answer to this one is yes, but before you plug that bad boy in or start up your pressure washer keep reading! We highly recommend waiting for a longer period than just a few days to pressure wash any part of your home that has been recently painted.

We HIGHLY suggest waiting a period of 30 days or so before pressure washing and the reason why is because paint may dry quickly (4 hours or so) but it also has a cure time. This is when the paint and additives for the enamel and other things inside the paint curate and harden to become permanent. This usually takes a period of about 14 days but if it is very humid or more moisture in the air and little heat, it can take up to a period of 30 days to fully cure.

SO the answer is yes, but please be patient!
